This made-for-TV film was produced by the junior staff of Studio Ghibli.
Set in Kochi (on the island of Shikoku), this short film tells the story of a high-school love affair that blooms when a new girl transfers from Tokyo. Initially an arrogant and aloof big-city girl, Rikako gradually reveals her vulnerability and loneliness to one of the boys who falls in love with her. Full of the hesitant confusion of young love, this is a delightful film.
