Here's a map.
6-120 is on the first floor of building 6, and is in the middle of the building.
The easiest way to get to MIT is by the T. Take the Red Line to Kendall Square. If you were traveling outbound, say from BU, you'll come up on the Coop side of Main Street. Cross Main Street and continue in the same direction. If you were traveling inbound, say from Harvard, there are two places you can come up. If you can look across Main Street and see the other T entrance, just keep walking away from Main Street. If you can't, you need to walk along Main Street (keeping it on your right) until you see the two T entrances.
Now you should be walking away from Main Street. Cross the crosswalk that should be right in front of you, then keep walking straight until you get to Amherst Street. Turn right and follow it until it runs into Ames Street. Cross Ames Street and keep going straight.
You should now be in MIT itself. Anyone you meet now will probably be able to direct you to 6-120 if you get lost. Just keep going straight until a building blocks your path. Go inside, turn right, and keep going until you see a set of large double doors on your left with a sign on them saying "6-120."
Alternatively, get yourself to 77 Mass. Ave and walk up the steps. Straight ahead is a long corridor. Walk to the end of that corridor and turn right. Keep going until you come to the large set of double doors on your right labelled "6-120".
