Recent (significant) updates to this site

We're tweaking the site all the time, of course. We hope this list will help frequent visitors find the new stuff.

• 20 February 2006: Updated and revised the membership rates for the spring term.
• 22 August 2005: Updated and revised the membership rates for the fall term.
• July 2005: Added two more mentions of MIT in anime (is there any other American college mentioned in anime?).
• 14 December 2004:
  • Moved the Fall 2004 schedule to the past showings page. At Quartz's suggestion, I put a table of contents into the past showings page.
  • Filled in the gaps in the past showings page, thanks to Melody Yung, who provided us with the missing data.
  • How did we ever forget to put Nene Romanova into the anime computers and their hackers page?
  • Added a lot of stuff to the starting an anime club page based on some ideas Steph had from her high-school club and based on some of the questions we've gotten recently.
  • Reorganized the club splash page in hopes of making it easier to find stuff on the site (in particular, the "how to start a club" page)
• 3 December 2004: updated membership information and forms for the spring 2005 term
• 27 August 2004: updated membership information and forms for the fall 2004 term
• 19 August 2004: cleaned up a lot of old broken links, replacing them with the correct ones when I could
• 11 August 2004: updated Japanese onomatopoeia page with a few phrases from Lilith in Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito.
• 11 August 2004: Yay! Got a screen-cap of lisp on Lain's handheld Navi (see the MIT in anime page).
• 1 July 2004: Added a thank-you to all the companies that have given us permission to show their films.
• 23 Dec 2003: Link cleanup on the Haibane Renmei page.
• 20 Dec 2003: Added the Noiseman Sound Insect page.
• 19 Aug 2003: Added a link to The Pirated Anime FAQ to the "Purchasing Anime" section of our resources page.
• 26 May 2003: finally added the new officers to the club info page.
• 20 May 2003: added a reference to the Electronic Gaming Group to the resources page.
• 16 May 2003: found old showing lists (from the early 90s), added them to the past showings page.
• 22 Apr 2003: added the new thumbnail reviews page.
• 21 Apr 2003: added the note about Hanaukyo Maid Tai to the MIT in anime page (thanks to Pramook Khungurn for catching this and providing the images).
• 20 Feb 2003: added the Jungle wa itsumo Hale nochi Guu page.
• 15 Feb 2003: added links to the Azumanga Daioh-inspired games on the Azumanga Daioh page.
• 10 Feb 2003: added the Japanese onomatopoeia page.
• 5 Feb 2003:
  • We got lots of suggestions for additions to the list of anime computers and their hackers.
  • Added the .hack//Twilight description page (Mireille is so kawaii).
  • Added a link to 100 most useful words in anime to the resources page. Thanks, Matt!
• 27 Jan 2003: Opened the new audio library.
• 26 Jan 2003:
  • Added the Asagiri no Miko series description.
  • The Princess Tutu page gets an image of Ahiru.
  • Added the list of anime computers and their hackers.
• 23 Jan 2003: Added the explanation of the phrase ai yori aoshi to the culture notes page.
• 11 December 2003: Added seiyuu info, other tweaks to the Abenobashi maho shotengai page.
• 19 November 2002: Added the Haibane Renmei page.

  • The Azumanga daioh, NieA_7 pages go graphic!
