How to write EQUATIONS

In order to create an equation in Frame, either in your text or as a
separate numbered equation, follow these steps:

        1. Click on the sigma in the upper righthand corner of
                your frame window.

        2. Click the mouse at the point in your document where you
wish to insert the equation. If you want numbered
equations, start a new paragraph by hitting
return at the end of the previous sentence.

        3. Select "New Small Equation" (or medium or large equation if
you want a larger font) from the Equations options.

        4. Now enter your equation by selecting the appropriate symbols
and typing in letters and numbers as needed.

        5. When you are done, select "Shrink Wrap" from the Equations
options in order to fit the equation in the text.

If you need to edit the equation after "shrinking" it, just select the
"unwrap equation" option.

NOTE: If you want your equations numbered, and have placed the
equation on a line by its own, look under the Paragraph Formats menu
at the autonumbering entry to find out how to add automatic equation
numbers.
