STARTING Frame and getting MORE INFORMATION

In order to run Frame 5.1, the default version of Frame, type the following:
	add frame
	maker

To run Frame 5.5, the newest version available on Athena, type the
following:

	add frame
	maker -ver 5.5

To run version 4, an older version (not available for Decs), type
	add frame
	maker -ver 4.0

Switching between versions 4 and 5 should be minimized; frame 5 can
read frame 4 documents, but not vice versa.

It takes several minutes for the inital window to pop up. If you are
starting a new document, click on "NEW" and select an appropriate
template. To get on-line help with Frame, click on the "Help" button
in the main document window, or click Control-? and click on the feature
you want specific information about.

For additional information on Frame, there are manuals in the
consultants office (1st floor N42) which you are welcome to look at.
A general document on using Frame is available from Copy Tech (11-004)
for a small fee.

Additionally, the following web site has a lot of useful information
on using Frame:
