How will Frame affect my QUOTA

FrameMaker has an autosave feature, similiar to that of emacs or ez,
which has been set to save the document every five minutes. There is
also option to create a backup of your document when you save it, but
this feature is not enabled on Athena. For more information on this
feature, see the stock answers "FRAME May Lose Your Files". and "How to
Turn on BACKUP on SAVE".

Finally, if Frame crashes suddenly without warning, it saves your
document with the extension .recover. Unfortunately, these files are
saved in the same directory that your file is in. Since the backup file
is a copy of your document, it unfortunately takes up just as much room.

Some suggestions to help reduce the amount of space frame takes up in
your account:

o delete and purge the .backup files when you have saved
your document and know you no longer need the
		backup file

o delete and purge any .recover files that are older than your
current working copy of the document.

o work in /tmp or /usr/tmp on a workstation to create the
document, and then REMEMBER to copy the file to
your directory when you are done.
