How to APPLY the THESIS TEMPLATE to an EXISTING file

If you started working on your thesis before you realized there was a
thesis template, you can still use the thesis templates without
starting over. The simplest way to do this is by applying the formats
and definitions from the template to your current working document.

	1) Open the Frame document already being worked on.
	2) Open the file chapter.doc from the Contributed/Thesis
		template
	3) In the working file, select Import -> Formats from the File menu.
	4) In the dialog window, make sure all the options are
selected, and you are using formats from chapter.doc.
	5) Click on OK.

This will cause the working document to then use all the formats from
chapter.doc and also update the existing formats. All formats
includes paragraph/character formats, as well as master and reference
pages. If the you are going to be using the rest of the thesis
template files as well (for the cover page, etc.) you should save the
document as chapter.doc. See the stock answer on using the Frame
thesis template if you need more information.
