How to READ mail

In order to read your mail, you must first get it from your Post Office.
Type:

	inc

You will see something like:

	10+ 11/08 harry@mit.edu      How about lunch on thursday? <<Are you
	11  11/08 ilham@mit.edu      Alice (for IAP guide) <<m4-082-4 [69]
	12  11/08 snoopy@mit.edu     Your OLC question about xwindows << In a

Here are some commands for reading mail:

	show    see the message indicated by a +
	scan    get the above listing for all of your mail
	next    move the + to the next message and show that one
	prev    move the plus to the previous message and show that one
	rmm     delete the message indicated with a +

These commands can be given a number to mark another message as the current
message.  For example:

	show 10

will show message 10 and move the + sign there.

To get to it, type the following at the athena% prompt:

	help email
