Maple ERROR message of "afs byte-range lock/unlock ignored"

The message "afs: byte-range lock/unlock ignored; make sure no one
else is running this program" may appear in the console window from
time to time when you are using Maple (in particulat, when using the
graphical help system). You can safely ignore this message, and Maple
should continue to run normally (it appears because a few Maple files
are byte-range locked, and AFS does not support byte-range locking).
