SEGMENTATION VIOLATION error

" ??? Segment violation: Sorry about that but this is bad news. Try to
save as much of your workspace as possible and exit. Report the problem
to your Matlab manager or the MathWorks. "

If you have gotten the above message when running matlab, then something
is wrong. The only course of action after getting that error message,
is to quit matlab and start over. If you can duplicate that error, i.e.
you can restart matlab, and by giving some well defined sequence of
commands get the "Segemnt violation" message, please use the "sendbug"
program to report it. To do so, type:

	sendbug

at the athena% prompt and include the appropriate information.

Please include the sequence of commands that caused the message to
appear, so that we can track down the cause and report it to the vendor.
