Using SIS, Student Information Services

Student Information Services is now only availble on the web and
is now called WebSIS. The old SIS clients no longer work.
You can access WebSIS by going to:

	http://student.mit.edu/

in Netscape. (It is also possible to perform some operations using
the lynx text-based browser, but other operations may require
JavaScript which is only availble in Netscape.)

To obtain access to your personal records, you will need to go
through a series of steps to obtain a certificate which can
be used to prove your identity to the WebSIS server. There
are instructions on how to do this on the top-level WebSIS page.

If you have questions about the WebSIS system and the methods
needed to access it, you should explore the information available
at the above URL. There is also information there describing who
to contact if you want more information or assistance.

To help improve the system, please report any problems or bugs to
websis@mitsis.mit.edu.
