"Failed to load the necessary components" error

This is a common problem, often triggered by logging out without first
shutting down StarOffice.

If this error message appears in the xterm window, a likely cause is a
corrupted file named .user52.rdb, which is located in your home
directory. Delete this file and run StarOffice again; the file will be
recreated, and the program should run normally.
