Playing a VIDEO file downloaded from the Web
Applications are available on Athena for playing video files in AVI, MPEG,
and Quicktime formats.
To play a video in AVI format, type:
add graphics
xanim filename.avi
Xanim is available on RS6000's, Sunstations, and SGIs.
To play a video in MPEG format, type:
add graphics
mpeg_play filename.mpg
or
xanim filename.mpg
To play a video in Quicktime format, type:
add grapihics
xanim filename.mov
