What are the CONSOLE and WINTERM windows

The SGI console window currently gets all of the console output from
/dev/console; thus it functions similarly to the standard Athena
console, except that you can type and execute commands in it.

The "UNIX shell" selection from the desktop actually runs the native SGI
"xwsh" program (from the "winterm" shell script), which doesn't exactly
fit into the Athena environment. Note that the SGI console window is
actually a "xwsh".

Using a "winterm" or "xwsh" will cause your .login and .startup.tty
to be run automatically. Exiting either one of those windows will cause
your .logout to be run!

For more information on "winterm" and "xwsh", try doing:

        athena% man winterm
        athena% man xwsh

Note that /usr/sbin/winterm is a Bourne shell script.
