Making CD-R and CD-RW discs on Athena

You can create CD-R and CD-RW discs on select Athena workstations.
Dell Optiplex GX150 workstations have CD-R drives, and IBM and
HP/Compaq workstations have CD-RW drives. We do not currently have
any Sun workstations with CD-R or CD-RW drives. Blank CD-R and CD-RW
discs may be purchased at a number of locations, including the MIT
Coop.

The cdrecord program is available in /usr/bin on all Linux workstations.
