4/29/02 We're not managing this as a "project" any more. Now
we're managing it as a piece of third party software.

Project Description
|
Through user surveys, focus groups, support requests, and informal
feedback, the MIT community has expressed the need for an office
productivity suite on Athena which provides document compatibility
with and similar functionality to certain components of Microsoft
Office. This project will clarify thaat need, identify one or more
software products that fill it, create a plan for appropriate
integration into the Athena environment, and establish mechanisms for
future vendor/author maintenance and support.
