The MIT Arab Students' Organization

Mission:

The ASO establishes the institution of these awards in hope of fostering a bold new vision of a scientifically inquisitive, technologically pioneering and knowledge empowered, Arab American community. In particular the awards banquet will provide an opportunity to:

- Celebrate and recognize the contributions of Arab Americans to science, technology, and other areas of scholarship that will best serve the nation and the world in the 21st century.

- Increase awareness of the achievements of leading Arab American scientists, engineers and technologists among members of the Boston community.

- Build a bridge between three generations of Arab American Science and Technology specialists.

- Link MIT Arab Alumni/ae to the greater Arab Community in Boston and provide an opportunity for MIT students, faculty and staff, to interact with other individuals and organizations that share MITs mission.
