Walid Soussou

Walid V. Soussou was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1975, and came to the United States in 1989. After finishing High School in Florida, he attended Boston College and received a B.S. in biochemistry in 1995. He then worked at Boston University as a research technician before matriculating at the University of Southern California where he is currently writing his PhD. dissertation in Neuroscience. He has authored two research papers, two book chapters and presented his research at several conferences. When not in the lab, Walid can be found hiking or biking in the California mountains which remind him of his homeland.
