Youssef Marzouk
Youssef Marzouk is a candidate for a Doctor of Philosophy degree in
Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
His research currently focuses on simulation, optimization, and
control of mixing in three-dimensional vortical flows. His interests
also include computational mathematics, parallel computing, vortex
dynamics and vortex methods, dynamical systems, and model order
reduction, as well as turbulent combustion modeling and laminar
flames.
Youssef is a former president of the Beta chapter of the Chi Phi
Fraternity. Youssef is also know to the MIT community as an active
and talented pianist.
