Programs
The Council for the Arts provides support for many arts-related programs at MIT. The Council's remarkable Grants Program offers funding for projects created by students, staff, and faculty. The Arts Scholars Program was founded to nurture a community of student artists at MIT. Council support also provides all MIT students with free tickets and admission to some of Boston's finest arts institutions and performances. The Council also bestows annual art awards to MIT students and faculty, and to nationally recognized artists.
