For general information on getting to MIT and parking information, see the MIT Campus Map. (Click here for general directions to MIT.) Directions to individual arts venues are given below. Please note: due to the ambitious campus construction program currently underway at MIT, on-campus parking is extremely limited.

MIT Parking for MIT events

From 5pm to 7:30am and on weekends and holidays, permits are not required for MIT-affiliated people in the following lots:

• Hayward Lot
• N10 Lot
• Windsor Lot

Arts Venues

Bartos Auditorium, Building E15, 20 Ames Street
Coming from the Boston side on Massachusetts Avenue, go past the MIT main entrance at 77 Mass. Ave. Turn right (at lights) onto Vassar Street. At the next light, take a soft right onto Main Street. Take your next right onto Ames Street. Bartos Auditorium is located on the lower level of the Wiesner Building (also home to MIT's List Visual Arts Center and the MIT Media Lab), the white tile building on the left.

Compton Gallery, Room 10-150, 77 Massachusetts Avenue
Follow directions to MIT Main Entrance/77 Mass Ave. The Compton Gallery is located in Building 10, halfway down the 'Infinite Corridor' on the left.

Killian Hall, Room 14W-111, 160 Memorial Drive
Follow directions to Route 2A/Mass Ave. Cross the Massachusetts Avenue Bridge over the Charles River. Immediately turn right on Memorial Drive. Stay straight to go onto Memorial Drive/MA-3 south. You will need to do a U-turn by turning left onto Wadsworth Street (watch for 'Kendall Square' signs). Turn left onto Memorial Drive/MA-3 North.

Kresge Auditorium/Little Theater, Building W16, 48 Massachusetts Avenue
Follow directions to MIT Main Entrance/77 Mass Ave. Kresge Auditorium is located across from 77 Mass Ave, set back from the street. It is a distinctive-looking building ‚ the roof is one-eighth of a sphere set on three points. Kresge Little Theater is located in the lower level of Kresge Auditorium.

List Visual Arts Center, Room E15-109, 20 Ames Street
Coming from the Boston side on Massachusetts Avenue, go past the MIT main entrance at 77 Mass Ave. Turn right (at lights) onto Vassar Street. At the next light, take a soft right onto Main Street. Take your next right onto Ames Street. The List Visual Arts Center is located on the first floor of the Wiesner Building (also home to Bartos Auditorium and the MIT Media Lab), the white tile building on the left.

MIT Museum, Room N52-2nd floor, 265 Massachusetts Avenue
Coming from the Boston side of Mass. Ave, go past the MIT main entrance/77 Mass Ave. Stay on Mass Ave through two sets of lights. The MIT Museum is located at 265 Mass Ave, which is approximately 0.3 miles from the main entrance.

Wong Auditorium, Building E51, 70 Memorial Drive
Follow directions to Route 2A/Mass Ave. Cross the Mass Ave Bridge over the Charles River. Immediately turn right onto Memorial Drive. Stay straight to go onto Memorial Drive/MA-3 south. You will need to do a U-turn by turning left onto Wadsworth Street (watch for 'Kendall Square' signs). Cross Memorial Drive, under the pedestrian walkway (Sloan Business School on your right). The entrance to Wong Auditorium is one block up on your left, on the corner of Wadsworth and Amherst Streets.

Chapel, Building W15, 48 Masssachusetts Avenue
Follow directions to MIT Main Entrance/77 Mass Ave. The Chapel is located across from 77 Mass Ave, set back from the street. It is located in the Campus Activities Complex, on the opposite side of the oval behind Kresge Auditorium.

Dean's Gallery, Room E52-466, 50 Memorial Drive
Follow directions to Route 2A/Mass Ave. Cross the Mass Ave Bridge over the Charles River. Immediately turn right onto Memorial Drive. Stay straight to go onto Memorial Drive/MA-3 south. You will need to do a U-turn by turning left onto Wadsworth Street (watch for 'Kendall Square' signs). Cross Memorial Drive, under the pedestrian walkway. The Gallery is located in the Sloan Business School building on your right.

Hart Nautical Gallery, Building 5, 55 Masssachusetts Avenue
Follow directions to MIT Main Entrance/77 Mass Ave. The Gallery is located in Building 5, to the immediate right of the main entrance.

Lobby 7, Building 7, 77 Masssachusetts Avenue
Follow directions to MIT Main Entrance/77 Mass Ave.

Lobby 13, 105 Masssachusetts Avenue (rear)
Follow directions to MIT Main Entrance/77 Mass Ave. 105 Mass Ave is located to the immediate left of the main entrance. Walk straight through to the rear, across the walkway that leads to Building 13.

Room 10-250, Huntington Hall, Room 10-250, enter 77 Masssachusetts Avenue
Follow directions to MIT Main Entrance/77 Mass Ave. Room 10-250 is located on the second floor in Building 10, halfway down the 'Infinite Corridor' on the left.

Stratton Student Center, Building W20, 84 Masssachusetts Avenue
Follow directions to MIT Main Entrance/77 Mass Ave.
The Student Center is located across the street from the main entrance, next to the Athletic Center. It houses the Sala de Puerto Rico, the Wiesner Student Art Gallery, Twenty Chimneys, and Mezzanine Lounge.

Walker Memorial, Building 50, 142 Memorial Drive
Follow directions to Route 2A/Mass Ave. Cross the Massachusetts Avenue Bridge over the Charles River. Immediately turn right on Memorial Drive. Stay straight to go onto Memorial Drive/MA-3 south. You will need to do a U-turn by turning left onto Wadsworth Street (watch for 'Kendall Square' signs). Turn left onto Memorial Drive/MA-3 North. 142 is on the right after you pass Ames Street.
