New Features on the MIT Arts Calendar
Ever since we launched the MIT Arts Calendar, we've been listening to our users and working hard to make it even better. Here are a few of the features we've added and some instructions on how to make them a part of your life.

Download the "Month at a Glance" calendar

Add individual events to your calendar
- Click on the event you are interested in
- Click on the calendar icon or link to download the event’s file to your computer
- You can now add the event to your calendar, email it to a colleague, or upload it to a shared calendar
- Google calendar users can set up a text message alert for the event

Subscribe to the RSS feed
- Click the icon at the top right of the calendar to subscribe to the RSS feed of events that are tagged with arts subjects on the main MIT events calendar
- You can save this feed to your bookmarks or add it to your favorite reader

Join our mailing lists
Click on the envelope icon on the left hand side of the screen to sign up for any of the following listservs/services:
- Month at a Glance Calendar
- Arts-announce listserv
- General announcements -- selected event listings, special announcements, audition announcements, and ticket offers. Subscribers may send announcements to this list.
- Artsnet listserv
- MIT community only. MIT arts representatives submit information to Lynn for the arts calendars.
- Press Mailing lists
- MIT community only. Press lists that are coded in arts categories (music, theater, dance, visual arts, etc). MIT students, faculty and staff may request lists to pitch stories and publicize their MIT arts-related events and activities.

- You will be taken to the List Visual Arts Center's interactive map of the public art at MIT.
