(had requested information in order to determine whether they are class I or class II)- ******* New Business: Review activities requesting Recognition 1) MIT Voter education project - no constitution - thud 2) HANSORI - separate activity from KSA - OK problems - no hazing form, don't specify 5 or 50% MIT membership. Decision: Provisionally recognize 3) Association of Mexican Students - Not sure of purpose- Mexican club is not recognized - they wan't recognition. They don't have anything about officers, their bylaws contain alot of what should be in constitution, missing non-discrimination clause. - Not recognized until they fix lots of stuff 4) MIT Chinese Association of Science and Technology - Don't have specific president -their pupose is very close to Chinese Engineers club - nothing about meetings, don't state who can run in elections, no cluase for removal of officers. We don't change whatever their status is But Wait - we have them down as being ASA recognized! This is wierd! need to check hard files. and ask Scott **** 5) MIT Hawaiian Club (MITHIC) - Provisionally recognized *** 5/10/94 - shouldn't that be permentantly recognized?? Repeat message to Matt Goodman requesting information on de-activating student accounts. Maybe ask that they be more lenient on granting guest accounts for all the student accounts they're deactivating. They're turning existing accounts into lockers.
