	Safe Walk - why are they bothering with us?  Their money from
GSC was a gesture of support for the idea, GSC also figured future
funds would come from the Dean's offices, or Safe Walk would become a
recognized activity and file for UA and GSC funding.


	   3)  Provisionally recognize the Chinese Institute of
Engineers MIT Chapter - need to fix membership clause.

	NAACP - No word from them.  They applied for UA funding which
was denied until they fix their constitution.  

	Chinese International Youth Association  - no constitution

	Review activities requesting Recognition

	   1)  MIT Voter education project - no constitution - thud
	 
		
	   2)  HANSORI - separate activity from KSA - OK  
	problems - no hazing form, don't specify 5 or 50% MIT
membership.	
	Decision: Provisionally recognize

	   3) Association of Mexican Students  - Not sure of purpose-
Mexican club is not recognized - they wan't recognition.  They don't
have anything about officers, their bylaws contain alot of what should
be in constitution, missing non-discrimination clause.    - Not
recognized until they fix lots of stuff

	   4) MIT Chinese Association of Science and Technology -  
Don't have specific president   -their pupose is very close to Chinese
Engineers club - nothing about meetings,  don't state who can run in
elections, no cluase for removal of officers.   We don't change
whatever their status is

	But Wait - we have them down as being ASA recognized!  This is
wierd!  need to check hard files.  and ask Scott

****  5)  MIT Hawaiian Club (MITHIC) -  Provisionally recognized ***
	5/10/94 - shouldn't that be permentantly recognized??

	Repeat message to Matt Goodman requesting information on
de-activating student accounts.   Maybe ask that they be more lenient
on granting guest accounts for all the student accounts they're
deactivating.  They're turning existing accounts into lockers.  Find
out current procedure for registering for a guest account - how much
hassle?  cc a copy to quijote.  

	close discussion on accounts.

	We're "Co-sponsering" the frosh mailing  - we have $3000 to
give to the Dean's office for the mailing to the frosh.
