ASA execboard meeting

Attendance: Greg,Wayne,Renecca,Kent,Maria,Roger Kermode, Matt


Old Business: CAC/Finboard meetings for activities - 4 of them are
planned, punishment for not attending is cutting off student accounts.
We don't like either the four meetins, meeting times, or punishment. We
would like to make this information the first 1/2 of the next ASA general
Body Meeting,which is madatory anyway.

Coming up:  Next General body meeting - do we want the book or the
packets with flyers?  We could charge by the sheet, or charge the groups
with their sheet on top lots of money - The Tech, LSC and etc which
usually spend money on this anyway.    Also need to discuss the bulletin
board re-allocations which Greg wanted to do.   Possible Dates for the
meeting:  7:00 pm, Tuesday November 1st.

Meeting with Susuan Allan to discuss the group meetings
1) Freezing Student accounts is just a proposal so far
Discussion has included UA, CAC, RCA, ASA
Kent proposes to hold this at the General Body meeting...
Dates may have gone out already, but oh well we can fix that.

Finboard has already decided they don't want to have a mandatory meeting
- would rather handle these things on their own.

More on Summer mailing:  Need to meet with Art Smith who wanted to cancel
the  summer mailing all together to find out his stance before the
meeting.  Kent and Greg will meet with Art.

Scott Centurino: passing off the room  re-allocation stuff, dealing with
Ted Johnson etc.  SFX is only one who has not moved out yet.  TRME has
moved out and that room is being renovated, should be done  - early
October.   Assasains guild is moving in there and they are hounding Ted
already.  Next door to that is a closet where the SFX stuff should be
going.  SFX has two weeks from now to get out, then we throw their stuff
out.  Then it will take Phys Plant a month, so PSG won't go in until
November.  Kent will watch over this to see if it will get done, but not
willing to correspond with SFX members.  Small activites office needs to
be cleaned up after PSG moves out.   PSG and others in Walker want new
locks on the doors, CAC doesn't have the money, Susan Allan might.
Also, there is the possibility that someone has the master to the locks
in Walker, we could use this as a threat to get locks changed.. Another
problem is the split room with Shakespeare Ensemble and
Speach,Debate,Model UN and another.  These rooms are joined by a door
which needs to be quasi-permenantly shut.  Probably make it locked from
both sides.  

SFX again  - supposed to have contacted Ted by 10/3 to have their stuff
moved out.  And for out last trick, we're going to make them dissapear.
