ASA execboard meeting minutes 10/24/94

	Attendance: Greg, Matt, Kent, Roger, Susan Allan, Ted Johnson

	called to order at 17:10

	General Body Meeting:  Need to put out a hard copy announcement.
Will put this in with a CAC announcement of the last "how to run an
event" interdepartmental mailing going out tomorrow.  

	Proposal by Greg: eliminate provisional recognition category
			voted down by general discussion

	Officer Reports: Greg and Kent went to Art Smith to talk about
the finances and status of the summer mailing packet.  Art is interested
in the most efficient option, not what the students want, so all we have
to do is convince him that they are the same thing.....  Possibility:
make a "book" with spiral bound 8.5x11" fliers

	Discussion of General Body Meeting agenda:  same three things,
summer mailing, bulletin board space re-allocation   - will pass out
forms for bulletin board space at the meeting, and the "Event Planning
workshop" after the meeting.

	Walker Update:  The Pagan Students Office has been cleaned out so
they should be able to move in now.  The Assassins Guild office was
cleaned out and the floor is rotten so that's under repair until Hell
freezes over or Phys Plant has enough coffee to get around to it. 
SFX club possessions are now in NW30, along with G&S society who keeps
changing the lock on the door,  he he he

	Assassins and PSG want to switch door locks

	Solar Car Club advisor wants to pull the club out of ASA control
and make it an Edgerton Center run activity.  a) what do the members
thing about this b) why bother c) if they do, we'll take their space in
E20 and 20 away.   Advisor will be meeting with Susan Allen to discuss
this soon.

	Recognitions:

	1) Student Pugwash - Recognized

	2) Latter Day Saints - Need to fix their membership Clause

	3) Mujeres Latinas - provisionally recognized

	4) Bhakti Yoga Club - needs a constitution still

	5) MITAAAAA - is this haaaaaack?

	6) Safe Walk - needs a home but we aren't it
