Execboard meeting 2/20/95
Attendance: Greg Dunn, Rebecca F, Matt K and guest Ryan Takemoto

Called to order at 17:17

	Old Business:
		Venezuelan Students were provisionally recognized and
have turned in a revised constitution - Full Recognition

	 	Romanian Students Assoc. Was also provisionally
recognized and have fixed the voting clause of their constitution - Full
Recognition. 

	General Body Meeting:  Do we have money for food?  should have a
couple hundred, maybe??   

	Bulletin Board reallocation:  Greg is going to do a sweep down
the hallway and look at a) how well student groups are utilizing their
current space and b) reallocate and provide space as best we can.

	Summer Mailing issues:   Greg talked with Dean Smith, he seemed
to indicate that our proposal (book + fliers - book is free, pay extra
(postage + provide own copies + stuff envelopes) for fliers.

	Stuy Web issues:  let it slide, I s'pose

	For General Body Meeting - constitutional amendment - provide
the outgoing execboard with power for a week after the new elections,
during which time they are expected the show the newly elected execboard
the procedures, filing systems etc.  Need to provide the UA council with a
copy of the amendment, actually, we need to word the amendment.


	Old: Article   The officers of the ASA shall be elected to serve
for one year at the first general assembly meeting of the spring term.
The new officers shall take office on March 15th etc. etc. 

	Want to fix:  a) needn't be the first meeting of the term b)
elections should be held at least one week prior to when - March 15th?,
end of March?    Greg will word it tonight and email it around for
approval. 

	Association of Mexican Students - much much confusion, we had
them recognized anyway, they thought they weren't we thought yet another
group was applying etc. etc.  So they are all set and never had a problem.

	Science of Bhakti Yoga is defunct - according to email form
Beethoven Cheng, the former VP.  :

defunct.

	Recognitions:  The Mit Bhakti Yoga Club:  Vote for Full
Recognition approved.
