  I]   Elections for 1996-1997 ASA Executive Board were held :

  II]  The 1996 Rooming Allocations were presented.  No objections
     were raised, so they will go into effect on July 1st (+/- some
     time depending on group's schedules).  The actual allocations
     are available on the ASA Web page (http://web.mit.edu/asa/www/).



  III] The amendment to the ASA Rooming Policy changing the length
     of time groups have to protest rooming categorizations from
       "by the third Monday following the Spring term
        Registration Day"
     to
       "by the tenth (10th) day following the Spring term
        Registration Day"
     was passed without objection. (It had been amended to "the
     tenth (10th) day" from "the Second Monday" by Jason
     Solinsky.)



  IV]  The amendment to the ASA Constitution changing Article VII,
     Section 1, paragraph 2 
      from  2.  Written notice shall be mailed to all ASA member
            activities at their last known address at least two
            weeks prior to the meeting date.

        to  2.  Electronic or paper mail shall be sent to the last
            given contact address of all ASA member activities at
            least two weeks prior to the meeting date.
     was passed without objection.
