Doug, Andrew, Steve, Kent, Jeremy, Gregg and Erik were present. Russell came late. Roopom was known to have a conflict. The next meeting is scheduled to be Friday the 16th, at 2pm. The Oragami Club and the MIT Flying Clubs were recognized, while the Instivte had a few problems with their constitution. There will be a derecognition party on wednesday from 11 to 2pm in the ASA office. WE will be sending paper mail to all groups that we have not heard from in our attempts to contact them about getting online. Pleas RSVP to me as to when you will be there. If you can't come for all of it, just come by when you can. There will probably be soda and chips, as usual. A tentative date of March 12 was set for the Spring General Body meeting. This means that the official agenda needs to go out no later than the 27th of February. We should sent out a tentative agenda and announcement a week before that as well. Three teams of three were formed to come up with 0th order rooming plans. These groups are : Kent, Gregg and Roopom; Jeremy, Steve and Erik; and Doug, Andrew and Russell. These groups need to meet between now and Friday the 23rd to come up with their proposals. We will attempt to merge them on the 23rd. Then we will meet with the RCA and CAC to discuss our proposal and see what their thoughts on it is. In the meantime, we will hear protests from groups. So far, Shakespear Ensemble, Club Latino and the Entrepreneurs Club have expressed a desire to protest. Groups have until the 26th to file petitions, but we suspect most, if not all, will come in much earlier than that. It was also decided that Doug and Jeremy would work on a way for the reaper to do a yearl (or semesterly) dump of all the information, so we can collate it into a binder for future records. Jeremy seemed excited about the possiblity of combining perl and postscript. -DKW
