in attendence: russel, van, geofrey, doug, eddie

*asa mailing*
went off fine =)
censoring of mailing - should be checked earlier, clearer guidelines
non-profit - this year (and last) was too heavy to go non profit ($1.12+ this year)
	maybe do two separate ones [non-profit is under a pound] perhaps publications
	do separately?  mail services want return addresses (know for next time)
mass email confusion - next time, start earlier and have one person totally in charge
	and clueful

*midway*
eddie - reserve room (r/o comm)
	don't forget non-student activities - mcc, food services, campus police,
	galleria?, mit medical, medlinks, office of arts, mit japan, i/s, alumni 
	(ask what/how they're doing their phone home thing)
	call athletics midway people and academics (van will remember to tell you who
	on the r/o committee) split costs with them for tables and chairs
	also i/s about ethernet drops, phys plant (tables and chairs)
	tell i/s that the drops will be where they always are, but closer to date,
	let them know exact locations
	
russ - send asa offical mail about who had turned midway forms & last call for any more
	reeeeaaall soon 
	(4th - official deadline for requests, 15th final dealine - if asked say show to
	the midway and if there's a table..., make layout by 4th and tweek til 15th
	then make 1800 copies, ask a/v by what dates they need to know exact equip,

*bulletin board*
general - must check them again to see if groups are doing okay (skydiving is dead,
	take acapella stuff from past board)

*recognitions*
mitcan - provisional recog?  dealt with them a long time, matt knows whole story
hippocratic people
project health
scuba club
sloan crew
recognizing: sloan crew, mitcan, scuba club (provisional - do we have petition & hazing
form?)
not recognizing: project health, hippocratic (email to ask them how they're different
from other med stuff)

*office cleanup*
we need to clean our office, says russel.  include food for any kind of attendence =)
