ASA Exec Meeting Minutes
12 October 1999, 9:19pm

Attendance: Jocelyn, Brian L, Philip, Lex, Ariel

1. New Groups:

Asian Athletic Association
 - Ask for clarification/further justification
 - Brian L will follow up

American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics
 - Constitution is incomplete
 - Philip will follow up


2. Rerooming

Student Center tours: Thursday noon, 1-1.5 hours

Discussion of priorities: storage favored over meetings

Rekeying: Lex will bring issue up with Ted again
 - Combo locks are important for some offices

Classroom reservation policy: Ariel will contact Scheduling/Facilities

Must be completed by end of IAP


3. Jocelyn is going to Israel for first 2 weeks of IAP


4. Postering spaces

Damaged poster-cases in Infinite Corridor
  - Can groups buy new cases and expect to keep space?
  - Should ask Facilities about fixing
    - Guild High Council should send an official request

Photography board?
  - Appropriate for Student Center, where space is underutilized anyway

Coffeehouse issues

Newbury Comics space: mentioning it makes Ted's head spin.


5. Old Group issues

Groups with errors in ASA_Info, etc. (Midnight Players)
 - Not following guidelines -- same Pres/Treas, etc.
 - Brian L will send mail, if no response we will derecognize

Inactive files (TCC, Dormcon, more)
 - Put them back -- let's focus on real violators

Groups on paper but not in Reaper
 - Biomaterials
 - iCare: wait until they complain

Short term groups
 - We should derecognize automatically (but warn them ahead)

 - Grains of Rice


6. Official mail is almost ready
 - Room reservation info
 - Rerooming instructions
 - IAP
 - Web accessability
