Jocelyn will deal by mailing them, and if they are flaky again Rune and Voodoo will probably be happy to move their computers for them (Rune and Voodoo have manpower) FYSM About 90 groups have submitted. Susan will be weighing the batch tomorrow. Once that's done, the packages will go to Norma or Katie for their approval. MITDMC can't do the sticker on the outside (boo hoo hoo). We can probably still fit all the groups in Sala. Groups who want recognition before the FYSM Most actually submitted a constitution, but we will not do any of them tonight. So they miss the FYSM...oh well. Locks People who don't want combo locks (we need to talk to them): IFC is paranoid. Debate is being stupid. MITSFS is paranoid. APO + ESP, perhaps. PIN numbers have 3 + 4 or 5 digits. 3 digit 'group ID' for each ASA group in an office, which we can wipe at one go if a group moves out. In case security is compromised over the weeked, CPs should have the ability to lock down any room. We need to make sure clubs can change the combos without a magic gizmo (sub-master level), according to the manual it looks like it's okay. Most importantly, we must stress that groups are not married to their rooms. SAD Options for laying out the SAD: Indesign ($350 from publishing budget) Pagemaker (Free but limited future) Framemaker (Free but a pain) We'll go for Indesign if we can use the Finboard's G4. We will start working on it from this weekend. Events Calendar vs the Reaper Alvar would like to start talking to IS about possibly adapting the system for the Reaper. Hopefully their stuff is a commercial product. Most importantly, we need to understand how the username/authentication system works. Philip and Susan are interested in helping later. Midway If the number of groups remains under 250, we will remain on one floor. Next meeting will be 2 weeks from now.
