Hi from ASA-Exec and SAO.
The SAO staff is awesome, and you should definitely talk with them for
event planning, finances, funding resources, even website help.

Announcements (details in slides):
--LEF/Arcade deadlines coming up -- Dec 1, 5 pm. Infosession 11/18, 4pm, 8-205.
--Finboard deadline (funding and board positions) 11/19.
--SAO Office Hours 12-2pm (day tbd) or by appointment.
--Mailboxes still available in W20-4 hallway.
(http://asa.scripts.mit.edu/applications/mailboxes/mailbox.html). All
other student group mail goes to SAO.
--Make sure your info is correct at https://sisapp.mit.edu/asa/index.do
--Make sure your group is on asa-official (mailman list)
--Yay new groups (14 of them, + 6 more once the paperwork is settled)

Decisions:
--Derecognize the 75 groups (in slides) that didn't submit hazing
forms, minus approximately 15 groups (also listed in slides) that had
people speak for them at the meeting: "100-5" pass
--The ASA can re-recognize any of the groups that were just
de-recognized: white ballot pass
--Change to constitution regarding new group recognition (and
consequent change to ASA-Exec's operating guidelines): 104-10-4 pass
--Election of Graduate Member at Large: Nominees: Leonid Chindelevitch
(leonidus), elected by lots of Ayes and no Nays
--Election of Student Member at Large: Nominees: Dylon Rockwell
(dylonr), Quentin Smith (quentin), Katherine Ray (klray). Elected:
Dylon, by majority vote.
