The project in north Bangalore seeks to provide needy children with a healthier childhood, pre-school and other education. It provides formal and norformal education to children, free hostels for needy women and children, vocational training for women, awareness programmes, family counseling services and a creche for destitute children.
Asha-MIT is funding education and living expenses of 12 students at a total cost of $2000/year. The project has been site visited by Srinidhi and Saroja, volunteers for Asha-MIT.
