Preferred Weapons:

Stuart Carbine. The Stuart is basically a copy of the Spencer carbine produced for the Confederate cavalry, and can use the same cartridges. It is a large caliber (.58) lever action repeating rifle with a tube magazine. Its large caliber causes a lot more damage than the similar Winchester, though it has a similar range. Unfortunately, it also means fewer shots (7) in the magazine. Finally, the tube magazine must be removed to be reloaded, impossible to do on the move, although a single round may be placed in the chamber and fired. Stuart/Spencer ammunition is also harder to come by than the ubiquitous Winchester .44-40.
