Summary:

1.  Miki presented the results of her talking over the issues with :
Jeff, Vijay  and Naomi 
 
    Jeff stressed again how important is to safeguard the integrity
of the Athena Private Stations when we update the machines.

   The important tip was that Vijay looks at us to provide krb5 and
AFS to as many hardware platforms as possible, as a way to help maintain 
security to the hardware on the campus and as a help for owners of Unix 
platforms that do not want/cannot use the Athena Private Stations.

   Naomi was ready to accept that the fee for third party software should not 
be connected with the Athena Private Station fee. 

2. We read and amended, where necessary, the tentative recomandations.

3. We decided to let Miki re-write the recomandations and in our next time 
meeting, which probably will be the last, to go over them once more and if we
all agree to end our project, with the understanding that we may start
meeting again in 6-12 months.

4. We discussed a possible new delivery project :

   Deliver krb5 and AFS for Unix-Linux platforms


  a. the initial developemnt work may take 4-6 weeks for delivering
   the krb5 and AFS on Solaris and Linux, our most popular platforms

  b. To expand to other platforms, keep abreast of bug fixes , go to new revs,
     we will need somebody working 1-2 weeks every 6 month.

  c. We need to talk with support groups to see who will do the consulting.

  d. We need somebody to put together documentation and publicity
