To all students:

Welcome to Physical Education. We have added some new course offerings for this term as well as a few off-campus activity classes.


Alternative Courses to Earn PE points.

Course participation requires a DAPER membership. Register at the main Zesiger Center customer service desk.

Two Physical Education points can be earned through approved Recreation Programs:
1. Personal Training
2. Private Swim Lessons
3. Group Exercise


Meet your swim Requirement:

Summer swim test hours: 8:00 am and 8:00 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Academic year swim test hours: 9:30 a.m, and 9:30 p.m on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

About Physical Education by Carrie Moore, Director

Our office offers a variety of physical education classes for undergraduate students to complete their Swim requirement and the 8 point General Institute Requirement.

Classes generally meet twice a week for 40 minutes. The program administers over 40 different class sessions beginning every six weeks during the academic year.

 

Sailing is a three season activity at MIT.
