Welcome to the MIT Assistive Technology Information Center (ATIC)
ATIC provides information technology resources and services specifically designed to address the needs of MIT community members and visitors with disabilities. The team and facilities are part of MIT Information Services and Technology
(IS&T).
ATIC, located in
Building 7-143, offers:
- a computer cluster for MIT students with disabilities to work
independently.
- consultations with individuals exploring assistive technology options
- demonstrations of assistive technologies such as alternative keyboards,
pointing devices, scanning devices, magnification or voice recognition
software
- accessibility reviews and testing of websites, multimedia, and software for MIT departments, labs, and centers
