The ATIC Computer Cluster
A core service provided by ATIC is a computer cluster in Room 7-143 for MIT students with disabilities. The computers in 7-143 provide the latest adaptive technologies students need to complete their studies independently and self-sufficiently.

- 6 Windows Athena desktop computers
- 1 Macintosh computer
- 1 Linux Athena Workstation
- 4 Scanners
- 1 Braille embosser
- 1 Video magnifier
- Alternative keyboards and pointing devices
- Power adjustable tables
- Adjustable height chairs
- Scanning and Reading software: Kurzweil 1000/3000
- Voice recognition software: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, MacSpeech Dictate
- Screen reading software: JAWS
- Magnification software: ZoomText
Students granted access to the cluster are required to follow ATIC Computer Cluster Rules of Use
