Summary & Motivation
Project Initiator: Local commerical cabbage planter (T.H. Lebentlele) Start Date: 2001 Projected Completion Date: Not applicable Current Status: Ideas stage A local cabbage planter came to ATS looking for a solution to his problem of planting several acres of cabbage seedlings every year. While such a large amount of planting may be a problem for large-scale farmers, it was found that small-scale farmers were not having problems with planting the seedlings. Therefore, this project was tabled indeterminately, but recently small models of cabbage planters were seen at agricultural demonstrations in Maseru.
