Summary & Motivation
Project Initiator: ATS Start Date: 2005 Projected Completion Date: Not applicable Current Status: Design stage (Working with South African government to develop mobile canning process) One of the largest reasons for spoiling of food in Basotho communities is the lack of proper packaging and preservation methods. ATS is currently looking at the following packaging and preservation techniques: (1) Mobile canning unit; (2) Milk preservation; (3) Cheese preservation. The goals of these projects are to save excess food from spoiling and to create a method for Basotho engineers to earn a commission.
