Entrepreneurial Training Program

[giving Basotho the business skills to suceed]

[Summary & Motivation] [Community] [Specifications] [Issues] [Contacts]

Summary & Motivation
Project Initiator: D.S. Phakisi
Start Date: 2005
Projected Completion Date: Not applicable
Current Status: Ideas stage

Many Basotho have the skills needed to start their own small enterprises, but frequently they fail to do so because of inadequate understanding of where to begin. ATS has tried to disseminate some information about starting small businesses using the tools that they manufacture, but there has been little or no successful return on that initiative. It is thought that a more structured training on entrepreneurship would be more successful, since networking and problem solving are more likely to occur during such training.

ATS lacks the marketing staff to develop such training independently, so it is looking for outside collaboration and guidance with such a project.
