The Audit Division also invests resources in non-audit initiatives to support the overall Institute mission. This includes, but is not limited to:
- opportunities to influence management’s decisions with respect to a non-prescriptive, decentralized control structure
- relationship development, outreach, and quality assurance
- assistance to the Institute’s external auditors
- benchmarking to promote continued focus on industry and professional best practices
- ancillary projects (e.g., Personally Identifying Information) with control objectives
