What...?
|
| Amarillo, TX. A seemingly ordinary town, at least
as Texas goes. We were there to perform a play for a competition. That's
a whole other story in and of itself. The point is, while we were driving
down the road, we encountered a mysterious sign... |
 |
 |
What's this? A picture of scissors on an official street sign? But
what could it mean? "Scissors ahead"? "Cutting here"? "No cutting here"?
|
| We were all puzzled. Chris, Nabil, and Shay studied the sign closely
in hopes of finding a clue to its meaning. |
 |
| They could not decipher it. |
 |
| We wandered around the sign, hoping that a sudden flash of
inspiration would come to one of us. We observed the traffic, waiting to
see how each car would react to the sign. As we pondered, each of us began to
react to its enigmatic presence in our own way... |
 |
Chris began to feel extremely close to the sign. |
| Nina seems disgusted. |
 |
 |
Nabil appears unaffected... |
 |
...but looking closer... |
 |
...it's clear that something is amiss. |
| Apparently, Shay didn't have a strong reaction. In
conclusion, it
must be admitted that we have no idea what the sign means. If you have any
ideas, please let me know. |
| UPDATE: This sign may be a part of a public art
project funded by an affluent Amarillo local (who is also responsable
for the infamous "Cadillac Ranch"). I haven't been able to confirm this,
but check this out.
