BabyNet is moving to MIT FamilyNet, an online community for MIT families.
What can you do on MIT FamilyNet?
- Search for other parents or families who have similar background or interests as yours, using criteria such as neighborhood, ages of children, languages spoken, services interested in (childcare exchange; nanny share; daycare or school carpool; playgroups).
- Maintain a list of buddies with whom you can exchange private contact information. Add other families to your buddylist so you can quickly find their information and share your contact information with them: this may be useful for forming babysitting exchanges, or casual playgroups.
- Participate in public forums (e.g. Buy&Sell, Parenting Tips, etc) by reading and posting topics.
- Find out about interesting events and activities at MIT and in your groups.
