CONGRATULATIONS TO CRAIG HEFFERNAN WHO WAS NAMED ROOKIE OF THE WEEK.
Once again, it was all about the big men. Kareem Benjamin, Craig Heffernan, and Zach Inman combined for 37 or MIT's 65 points.
I haven't forgotten Shane Cruz who finished with 11 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 assist.
Craig Heffernan finished with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 assist.
Melvin Pullen Jr. finished with 9 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 block. But he makes the highlights page for a missed dunk. On a fast break in the second half, Mel brings the ball down the right side of the court, sees that he has one defender, and proceeds to jump over him for the dunk. Too bad he missed. It might have been on SportsCenter if he had made it.
Kareem Benjamin double-doubled; 17 rebounds and 12 points. He also had 3 steals, and 1 block.
Zach Inman finished with 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 block after 12 minutes of play.
