Highlights
vs. Wentworth Institute of Technology
December 6, 1997

I witnessed the worst officiating that I've ever seen in my life during this game. Both teams got the shaft on this one, so I guess it just balanced out. For those of you who were confused about the 5-second violations. The new rule is that a player can only hold the ball for 5 seconds and if he is being guarded, he may only dribble for 5 seconds. To dribble more than 5 seconds, he must get his defender off of him. If he doesn't, it's a violation.

Chuck Hsu had another good game. He finished with 18 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals.

Melvin Pullen Jr double-doubled with 17 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists, and 1 block.

Kareem Benjamin finished with 13 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block.

I mustn't forget the Freshmen. Although only 3 of 7 freshmen have been on the highlights pages, all of them have to be recognized for their excellent play. Zach Inman, Craig Heffernan, Skip Lucey, and Klint Rose have all had key roles this season.
