Eli, a freshman, comes to MIT from Regis High School in Eau Claire, WI. After averaging 16 points and 7 assists a game his senior year, he recieved, All-State, Conference Player of the Year, All-City, and All-Region First Team honors, and led his team to a 22-3 record, and an undefeated conference championship season.

Eli's parents, Kitrick and Debra Sheets, live in Eau Claire with his two brothers, Evan and Josh, and two sisters, Anna and Tessa, who love the sport and support MIT basketball greatly.

Eli plans to major in Civil Engineering (course one), with a minor in Economics. After college, he hopes to go to graduate school, build bridges and live near the ocean in California.
