Profile

Neal Brenner is one of the captains of the team for the second straight year. Last year he averaged 4.2 points per game, 18.4 minutes per game , and his assist to turnover ratio of 1.59 was the best on the team.

Neal came to MIT from Cresskill High School in Cresskill, NJ, where he was a three sport first team All-Conference performer in soccer, tennis and basketball. He also captained all three sports. For the cougars and head coach Marty Rivard, Neal tallied 16.8 points per game his senior year, earning him first team All-BCSL Olympic and third team All-Bergen County. Neal also received first team All-BCSL and soccer scholar athlete of the year honors while taking the Cresskill soccer team to their first ever state championship game.

Neal's father, Irwin, and mother, Laura, are regulars at MIT games, while his sister, Sarah, is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania. He enjoys skiing (though not during the season), golfing, music and sleeping. He currently maintains a 4.9 GPA and is possibly looking for a career in technical sales.
