Whitaker College Conference Room Reservations
The rooms listed below are booked via an online reservation system. This reservation system allows you to check availability and place a reservation request without leaving your desk.
The reservation system is simple to use. It is best viewed in Internet Explorer. Once in the reservation system, begin by clicking on the item you wish to reserve, at the appropriate time, and fill in the requested information. After you click the “submit” button, you’ll be greeted with a screen detailing your request information. Press “add event,” and you’re all set. Your reservation is now pending, and you can expect to receive a confirmation email from Barbara Engel (email: bengel@mit.edu).

There are some things to keep in mind while using the new reservation system.
- Questions that are not answered here may be directed to Barbara Engel (email: bengel@mit.edu). Please read this site thoroughly before calling or emailing. All foreseeable questions are answered here.
- Cancelling Reservations: Please notify Barbara Engel immediately if you need to cancel your reservation. Anyone who consistently neglects to cancel an unused reservation will have their room reserving privileges revoked.
- All relevant room requests MUST be handled through the system. In an effort to streamline the reservation process and improve efficiency, phone or email requests will not be entertained.
- User’s contact information must contain an MIT email address, office, and phone. Requests missing any of this information will be returned unfulfilled until all the necessary information is submitted. Non-MIT community members may not reserve rooms or equipment.
- You will receive a confirmation email when your request is approved or denied.
- The default view for the calendar is day view. If desired, a user may easily move between week or monthly view to review availability. Please note that AM times are listed across the top, and PM times are listed across the bottom (it can be a bit confusing for first-time users).
- All rooms are to be left in typical conference/classroom formation. No Exceptions!! If you’re unsure, view the room picture by clicking the link above. Food is allowed in the rooms, but users must clean-up after themselves (this means using disinfectant on spills, not wet rags!). Users will be warned once. Leaving a mess on more than one occasion will result in the revocation of room reserving privileges.
