The following figure presents a stronger test to answer this question. In rows 1 and 3 the color of the dots is arranged horizontally. In rows 2 and 4 they are arranged vertically. A a result, will motion be seen as zig/zag in rows 1 and 2 and as see/saw in rows 2 and 4?
